Project Description
Ashish Nirman Sewa Pvt. Ltd. is undertaking the construction of a parallel taxiway at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu, under the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN).
The project involves the construction of a parallel taxiway to enhance the operational capacity and efficiency of TIA, reducing runway occupancy time and enabling smoother aircraft movement. The scope includes earthwork, pavement construction, drainage systems, lighting, and associated aeronautical infrastructure.
With a contract value of NRs. 4,558,262,743.00, this project represents a significant investment in Nepal's aviation infrastructure, aimed at decongesting the main runway and improving overall airport safety and throughput.
