Project Description

Ashish Nirman Sewa, as part of M/S Ashish/Aashirbad/Swaminarayan-JV, successfully completed the strengthening (asphalt concrete) of runway, taxiway, apron and other associated works at Falgunanda Sukilumba Airport, Ilam under the Aerodrome Engineering Department of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal.

The project involved extensive earthwork, pavement construction, drainage structures, retaining walls, and bio-engineering works to enhance the airport's operational capacity and safety. The runway was strengthened with asphalt concrete surfacing, and the taxiway and apron areas were reconstructed to meet aviation standards.

The Defects Liability Period of the contract ended on 18th April, 2022 (5th Baisakh, 2079).
