Project Description

Ashish Nirman Sewa, as part of M/S Ashish-Fewa-Nayabato JV, substantially completed the civil construction works of the Lower Modi Hydroelectric Project (20 MW) in Parbat, Nepal for Modi Energy Limited.

The project covered major hydropower civil infrastructure including weir and undersluice, intake, gravel trap and spillway, approach canal, settling basin and forebay, flood protection works, power culvert, penstock and anchor block, powerhouse, tailrace, and switchyard works.

The project started on 29 January 2014, with an intended completion date of 14 May 2017. The certificate dated 12 February 2020 records completed construction works valued at NRs. 998,246,297.95 with VAT.
